April 2015 Our lead singer TJ Ryan makes it as far as the GLÓR TIRE SEMI FINALS on TG4 !!
What can I say? I gave it everything I’ve got and had an absolute ball. I enjoyed every minute of my Glór Tíre experience. I can’t express my gratitude enough for everyone who helped in any way to get me to the Semi-Final. I want to extend my utmost appreciation…… To my Mentor and absolute Gentleman Paddy O’Brien for all his help, guidance, and support… To Val and the staff at Mr. Mister Menswear who kitted me out for every show… To Tipp FM, Tipp Mid-West and all the radio stations around the country who played my music and plugged for votes over the past few weeks… To Jon and the staff at Lionprint Cashel for the fantastic work they did on my posters and flyers…To all the businesses who displayed my posters and distributed flyers for me… To the members of SOUTHBOUND for all their assistance and support throughout this process, and last, but certainly not least…. To my family, friends and anyone who voted, sent good wishes, travelled to Galway for the shows, promoted on social media, and in any way helped to enhance my Glór Tíre journey – Go raibh míle míle maith agaibh. Our lead singer TJ Ryan is recording Glór Tire this Mon 1st, Tues 1nd and Fri 3rd Dec 2014 at the Quays Galway!! He” be appearing with his mentor Paddy O’Brien on the Tuesday night and is also joining him as a guest star in the Times Hotel Tipperary this Sun 30th Nov 2014…Best of luck TJ…
1st Nov 2014– Congrats to our lead singer TJ Ryan for being nominated to take part in Glór Tire on TG4!! The TV cameras are heading to TJ’s house this week and he’ll be heading to the Quays in Galway to record the TV shows in December. He’s going to need all your support when the voting starts on the live shows on TG4 in the new year. We’ll keep you all fully posted!!
June 2014- Finished our recording studio in Cashel….
26th April 2014-Donna Breen (Pride of Tipperary 2013) making a presentation to SOUTHBOUND on behalf of the Pride of Tipperary Committee for taking part in the Black Tie Winter Evening on Sat 25th Jan 2014 which managed to raise €5,000.00 which went to The Irish Cancer Society. Proceeds of raffle went to Circle of Friends & the South Tipperary Hospice.

“My Place” Documentary Tipperary Mid West Radio 104.8 FM. SOUTHBOUNDs recent release “Any Tipperary Town” chosen as the theme tune for “My Place” documentary with Shane Egan. This documentary aired from 11.15am Mon to Thurs for 12 episodes on “Morning Call” radio show during August 2013.
